It all started in the 80s in a smokey bar in the Paris Latin Quarter frequented by street musicians, where I befriended John Evans. But it's come a long way since then.

Things started getting serious around the year 2000, when John asked me if I would organize a pub-and-club tour of Germany for a blues-rock trio he wanted to put together. 

I'd already quit the day-job of 20 years (news agency journalist). But little did I realize where my saying yes would take us... 

Yes, it's hard trying to break into the modern music industry, damned hard. But stimulating, and sometimes even satisfying. Especially now that it's finally starting to happen.

An album, a couple of tours with a full five-piece band, original songs to market, and now another album in the pipeline with some really cracking good songs. Which I want the world to share!!!

Who We Are

I am the former news agency journalist turned French peasant farmer, writer and rockband manager Michael Anders, long-time friend of  veteran singer-songwriter,  rockband leader and erstwhile carpenter John Evans.

As for John, he is  now on a roll, writing songs of all sorts for himself and others at a pace we could not have imagined just a few years back, working from a burgeoning home studio somewhere in London's Maida Vale district.
